Fidelity Charitable Matching Campaigns
- Status: Open
- Focus: 13 priority states
Grapevine Giving Foundation has been awarded a grant from the Fidelity Charitable Catalyst Fund to launch matching campaigns that bring new members into Giving Circles and direct collective giving to nonprofits in 13 priority states across the Southwest, Deep South, and Central Appalachia, which receive roughly 3x less philanthropic funding per resident than coastal regions.
Eligibility: Only Giving Circles based in one of the following 13 states, granting to nonprofits located in those same states, are eligible to participate:
- Alabama
- Arizona
- Arkansas
- Georgia
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- Nevada
- New Mexico
- South Carolina
- Tennessee
- Texas
- West Virginia
The Fidelity Charitable® Catalyst Fund will match every dollar your Giving Circle raises above its 2025 average, up to $5,000 per Giving Circle. Whether you're starting a new Giving Circle in one of these states or you're an existing Giving Circle granting to a nonprofit there, it's a chance to grow your impact and welcome new members.

Fund a Matching Program
Are you a foundation, company, or individual exploring how to multiply your social impact? Grapevine's community of 100,000+ members runs Giving Circles in every state, focused on every cause, from neighborhood groups to enterprise employee resource groups. A matching program plugs your organization into a trusted network of donors who are already organized, already giving, and already looking for ways to do more together.
What a Matching Program Looks Like
We work with partners on a range of program structures, including:
- Cash match programs that multiply Giving Circle grants with a 1:1 or other other match ratio,
- In-kind match programs that pair Giving Circle donations with product or service contributions
- Bonus impact grants that recognize standout nonprofits identified by our community
- Multi-month campaigns that align with seasonal needs or your organization's cause focus areas
- Geographic and cause specific campaigns that target priority regions and/ or cause areas
Grapevine handles the logistics, including eligibility verification, Giving Circle communication, disbursement tracking, and impact reporting, so your team can focus on outcomes.
