Why I joined... “With over 10 years of experience in the field of psychiatry, I am passionate about providing quality mental health care to diverse populations. As an adult and child psychiatrist at Miami Counseling and Resource Center, I evaluate patients for medication management and tailor treatment plans to their individual needs. As an attending psychiatrist at Jackson Memorial Hospital, I work in the psychiatric inpatient units and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver compassionate and evidence-based care. I would like to join to be a leader in my field.”

Why I joined... “I am a retired African-American psychiatrist in the United States. I am interested in learning more about decolonizing wealth and how to participate. Since 2020, I have been trying to grow attention to the inhumane conditions endured by people with mental health challenges in West Africa. I have started a grapevine called Treatment Not Chains. Mental Health professions are instrumental in spreading the word. Thank you.”
