What is GlobalGiving?

GlobalGiving is the largest global crowdfunding community connecting nonprofits, donors, and companies in nearly every country. Since 2002, GlobalGiving has raised over $1 billion for 37,000+ projects across 175+ countries.

Are there fees for using Grapevine?

Grapevine does not charge platform fees for online donations made on Grapevine (via Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer). The only fees incurred are standard payment processing fees, which go directly to our payment partners to handle transactions. Learn more

There is a 5% for international grants. Grapevine partners with GlobalGiving, a nonprofit that supports vetted organizations in over 170 countries. Nonprofits around the world face challenges such as navigating banking systems, meeting evolving regulatory requirements, and managing limits on incoming funds. The 5% fee helps cover the real costs of addressing these challenges, including increased banking fees, compliance efforts, and the hands-on support GlobalGiving provides to its nonprofit partners. This fee ensures that funds can be delivered safely and effectively across borders.

* Matching Terms & Conditions: Philanthropy Together will match up to $250 total per eligible Giving Circle on Grapevine for a single grant directed to one or more nonprofit organizations outside the United States, selected from Grapevine’s international nonprofit listings. These organizations have been vetted through Grapevine’s partnership with GlobalGiving. Matching is limited to one matched grant per Giving Circle and is available on a first-come, first-served basis while funds last. To qualify, Giving Circles must be based in the U.S. or U.K. and use the Grapevine platform. Matching funds will be added to the Circle’s pooled grant amount once eligibility is confirmed. Terms are subject to change or early closure without notice.
