With Gratitude to Our Partners

None of this work happens alone. In 2025, Grapevine was fortunate to collaborate with partners who believe in the power of collective giving and community-led philanthropy.

Their support helped expand access to Giving Circles, unlock matching funds for local nonprofits, and bring more people into shared decision-making around generosity.

We’re grateful for your partnership and for your shared commitment to strengthening communities through collective action.

Check out our growing list of partners, with several more new ones being added soon.

Where Giving Came to Life

In 2025, Giving Circles across the Grapevine community hit milestones, showed up for their neighbors, and found new ways to give together. Here are just a few of the moments that stood out.

Big Milestones, Shared Together

Rapid Response for Hunger Relief

A newly launched Giving Circle focused on hunger relief brought together 54 members in just two days, raising $6,050, and surpassing $14,000 within two weeks, supporting food banks serving families nationwide.

Giving Beyond the Check

Giving Circles didn’t just fund nonprofits — they showed up.

Members volunteered with organizations like:

Gratitude from Nonprofits

Throughout the year, nonprofits shared thank-you notes with Giving Circles, offering a glimpse into how collective giving shows up in real and meaningful ways.

“We can't thank you enough. Your support helps us provide day programming for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to contribute to and engage in their community during every session. Last year, our friends with I/DD volunteered over 2,000 hours at local nonprofits (food banks, Children's Museum, Naperville Police Department) and spent over 7,200 hours in the community (dining out, going bowling, going to the library etc.) We do great work, but we are small--serving only 29 participants, nine days a week. We don't receive gifts like this, ever, and it truly makes a difference as we continue to expand.”

“On behalf of the Las Vegas Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, I wanted to say thank you so much for believing in our mission. With so many children sleeping on the floor in Las Vegas and across the nation, we are fighting an uphill battle. However, receiving your support allows us to keep marching forward. Without the backing of our community, both financially and through volunteer hours, meeting the needs of our children would be impossible. The saying, 'It takes a village' certainly applies to every chapter within our organization. To date, we have delivered 1,824 beds and your donation will help us to continue on our journey. Thank you again, Chris McDowell, Chapter President.”

What These Moments Have in Common

Different cities. Different causes. One shared approach.

These highlights represent just a small slice of what Giving Circles made possible in 2025.

Bringing People Together Through Events

In 2025, Grapevine hosted and supported a wide range of events designed to connect Giving Circle members, leaders, nonprofits, and partners. Leader Trainings and Roundtables

Throughout the year, Grapevine hosted hands-on trainings and peer conversations for Giving Circle leaders. Highlights included a community growth and storytelling training with Gillian Bergeron of Nextdoor Foundation, as well as a Leader Roundtable where Giving Circle leaders shared strategies, challenges, and ideas for engaging members and sustaining momentum.

Member Mixers and Community Connection

Member Mixers created space for Giving Circle members to connect with one another, build relationships, and strengthen the sense of community that makes collective giving sustainable.

Nonprofit Masterclasses

Grapevine hosted guided, interactive masterclasses for nonprofits interested in community-led philanthropy. These sessions helped nonprofits understand how Giving Circles work, how they support donor engagement and long-term sustainability, and how organizations can partner with Giving Circles in practical, meaningful ways.

Corporate Social Impact Conversations

Grapevine hosted two flagship conversations focused on how companies are building community, purpose, and belonging in a time of division and uncertainty, as well as how Giving Circles provide an effective model to meet these goals. Both conversations were moderated by John Brothers, Strategic Advisor to Grapevine, President and CEO of Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, and former President of the T. Rowe Price Foundation, and brought together leaders from foundations, nonprofits, and corporate social impact to explore participatory giving, employee trust, and belonging as a strategic priority.

Featured speakers included:

  • Ann Canela, Director of Corporate Giving, Niagara Bottling
  • Dena Trujillo, Chief Executive Officer, Crisis Text Line
  • Lacey Gaitan, Senior Vice President, Corporate Programs, Points of Light
  • Emily Rasmussen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Grapevine
  • Emily Yu, Chief Partnerships and Program Officer, Newman’s Own Foundation
  • john a. powell, Director, Othering and Belonging Institute and Professor of Law, African American and Ethnic Studies, University of California, Berkeley

Together, these events created opportunities for learning, reflection, and relationship-building that extend beyond any single Giving Circle or campaign.

Product Updates in 2025

In 2025, we continued investing in tools and resources that make collective giving easier to lead, easier to manage, and easier to sustain—for Giving Circle leaders, members, and nonprofits alike.

New Admin Dashboard

We launched a new Admin Dashboard that brings donation cycles, member management, reporting, and group settings into one streamlined experience. Leaders can now view donation history, download a single consolidated donations report, send formatted bulk messages, and see member donation summaries all in one place.

A centralized Admin Dashboard makes it easier to manage members, settings, and donation cycles.

Relaunched the Grapevine Leader Community

In April, we relaunched the Grapevine Leader Community as a peer-led space for Giving Circle leaders to connect, learn, and grow together. Leaders now have access to shared discussion, leader-only events, information about matching fund campaigns, and opportunities to influence Grapevine’s product and support priorities.

Grapevine Help Center

We launched the Grapevine Help Center to make answers, guidance, and resources easier to find when people need them. The Help Center includes step-by-step support for Giving Circle leaders, members, and nonprofits and will continue to grow over time.

Real-Time Grant Notifications

Giving Circle leaders now receive email notifications as soon as grants are sent to nonprofits. This makes it easier to close the loop, celebrate impact, and keep members informed.

Google Analytics Integration

Giving Circles can now connect their pages to Google Analytics to better understand engagement and donation activity. Leaders can track pageviews, traffic sources, and donation events to support outreach and growth.

Share Resources with Members

Leaders can now add a Google Drive folder directly to their Giving Circle page, creating a shared Resources tab for members. This makes it easier to centralize documents, guides, and materials in one place.

Share documents and resources with your Giving Circle members in one Resources tab.

Giving Circles Go Global

Through the Giving Circles Go Global initiative with GlobalGiving and Philanthropy Together, Grapevine expanded Giving Circles’ ability to support causes worldwide. Giving Circles can now access more than 4,000 vetted nonprofits across 175 countries, enabling global impact through collective giving. Through the partnership, global nonprofits not in the directory can be submitted for FREE vetting by the Global Giving team for a limited time, and added to the list.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we look ahead to 2026, our team is deeply grateful for the Giving Circles, nonprofit partners, and community members who make this work possible. Every conversation, grant cycle, event, and shared decision this year reminded us why collective giving matters.

In the year ahead, we’re excited to continue supporting people as they come together to learn, decide, and give with intention. We’ll keep strengthening the platform, deepening partnerships, and creating spaces for connection so Giving Circles can continue to grow in ways that feel meaningful, local, and human.

Thank you for giving together.
