In Stockton, CA, a city of 310,000 that was hit heavily by the financial crisis, the Reinvent South Stockton Coalition (RSSC), Launch Pad Foundation, and Grapevine have come together to support underserved communities in opportunity zones.
RSSC enables cross-sector coordination among local nonprofits in areas as diverse as early childhood education, public safety, healthy lives and workforce access.
Launch Pad Foundation identifies entrepreneurs, and potential entrepreneurs, from underserved communities, offering scholarships, training, and tools to help them succeed.
Grapevine brings all of these groups together on their philanthropy crowdfunding platform where anyone can contribute to these efforts.
