About our group
Nearest Neighbor was created by an undergraduate student from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a goal to raise awareness of the lack of support, funding, and accessibility in rural healthcare across the U.S. With over 46 million Americans living in rural areas, our hope is to listen and spread their stories, promote recognition of rural health deficits, and share ways to directly support patients, providers, and health facilities.
