About our group

Welcome to 100+ Women Who Care Miami Beach! We are an alliance of philanthropic women supporting local non profits in Miami -Dade County, functioning as a crowd-sourced micro-funding organization. Our goal is to reach 100 or more philanthropic women as members, each of whom commit $100 each quarter. We meet quarterly and hear presentations from three local charities. The members vote on one and that recipient is awarded a grant for the total proceeds raised that quarter. At 100 members x $100 each = $10,000! 100% of these funds will be used to expand crucial programs and services to those in need in our community in Miami Dade County. Do you have a non-profit to submit for a chance at a grant? Please complete the: Charity Submission Form

Here are the eligible charity guidelines:
· Any member (and only a current/paid member) may nominate a non-profit, but does not have to do the pitching/presenting—only if they want to.
· Non-profits do not need to be paid members, they only need to be nominated by a member, and complete the Charity Submission Form (link above).
· A member can only nominate one eligible charity each quarter. Members may change their nomination each quarter. [ie, we can keep or remove the sponsored organization from consideration at the nominating member’s request].
· A non-profit is only eligible to receive a grant once annually.
· Non-profits must be local, “grassroots”, 501c3 organizations, in good standing with the IRS, and provide programs and/or services in Miami Dade County. Eligible non-profits typically have an annual budget of $1 million or less, and do not have major endowments, predominantly large corporate sponsors or significant reoccurring grants. Eligible charities should be in business at least two years and have a clear plan of how the grant from 100+ WWC Miami Beach will be used, ie., not for salaries/overhead or administrative expenses.
