About our group

Welcome to 100+ Women Who Care Miami Beach! We are an alliance of philanthropic women supporting local non profits in Miami -Dade County. As a member in good standing, each of us commits to donate $100 (plus processing fees and optional tip) each quarter. We meet 4 times a year and hear presentations from three local charities. Our members then cast a vote for the "winning charity" and that recipient is awarded a grant for the total proceeds raised that quarter. At 100 members x $100 each = $10,000! 100% of these funds will be used to expand crucial programs and services to those in need in our community in Miami Dade County. Your commitment is important! When you join, please remember to add your credit card to your personal profile on Grapevine and set it up for a recurring charge. Your credit card will be charged 4 times a year to coincide with our quarterly meetings and donation cycles. Any questions: contact Terri at 305-798-7610 or [email protected]

Do you have a non-profit to submit for a chance at a grant? Please complete the: Charity Submission Form

Here are the eligible charity guidelines:
· Any member (and only a current/paid member) may nominate a non-profit, but does not have to do the pitching/presenting—only if they want to.
· Non-profits do not need to be paid members, they only need to be nominated by a member in good standing, and complete the Charity Submission Form (link above).
· A member can only nominate one eligible charity at a time. Members may change their nomination each quarter. [ie, we can keep or remove the sponsored organization from consideration at the nominating member’s request].
· A non-profit is only eligible to receive a grant once annually.
· Non-profits must be local, “grassroots”, 501c3 organizations, in good standing with the IRS, and provide programs and/or services in Miami Dade County. Eligible non-profits typically have an annual budget of $1 million or less (although exceptions can be made) and do not receive the majority of their funding from endowments, large corporate sponsors and/or significant reoccurring institutional donations or grants. Eligible charities should be in existence providing needed services or programs for at least two years and have had marked successes to point to. Furthermore, eligible non-profits should present a clear plan of why the grant is needed and how the monies from 100+ WWC Miami Beach will be used, ie., what specific program or service, and not for salaries/overhead or administrative expenses.
