A giving circle by the New York City Trust
About our group
NYC has over 8 million people. Imagine if every person in New York City were united through a little trust - the New York City Trust. A platform to connect us all so that we can safeguard our rights and have control over our collective future. Each month, everyone in NYC is called to invest $1 minimum. With over 8 million in population would mean a minimum of $8 million a month to effect the right changes for NYC. Anyone can suggest ideas for what to do. We would have monthly votes to determine which project to make happen. One person one vote each month for a true democracy.
By unifying through New York City Trust, we would become a lot more effective in our dealings with the government and corporations simply from having a unified voice. More importantly, this will allow us to be able to work together in coming up with the best reform and recovery strategies and putting them into action. As individuals, what we each can do is limited but together, we can make anything possible.
