Why I joined Women in Nonprofit for Gender Equity
I'm excited to join and become a member of Women in Nonprofit for Gender Equity for three main reasons: to empower, to engage, and to challenge the status quo. By joining this group I hope to align myself with like-minded individuals who not only hope to bring change but are actively trying to empower individuals in the non-profit sector to create a more balanced gender equity. In addition, engaging and challenging each other to create a more cohesive environment is something I personally envisioned in all the places I work, and hope to create this sense of community outside as well.
