Why I joined 100 Women Albuquerque
I joined this group because I am interested in networking, learning and supporting other women. In addition, I started a nonprofit on behalf of my Dad and would greatly appreciate ideas on how to make it more successful. The scholarship is for APS student athletes who are graduating from high school and pursuing the next steps in their education. My Dad was an English teacher and a well-respected high school basketball coach here in Albuquerque and the scholarship emphasizes his ideals on leadership along with directly supporting the MSA Coalition (Multiple System Atrophy which is a neurodegenerative disease that slowly shuts down different systems in the body).
