Why I joined Detroit Women in Business for Good
I watched the TED talk by Sara Lomelin and was intrigued by the power of giving circles and the impact it has to change philanthropy. It's important to help under funded organizations/charities and I regularly donate to NPR, Grace Center of Hope, Sierra Club, etc and want to see how to help more locally. I'm also interested in networking with other women in business who want to make a positive change in their communities.
