I am a Trusted Advisor, Visionary, Strategist, Change Agent, and Senior Executive with expertise and a strong passion for philanthropy, public policy, communications, and fundraising across various sectors. I am skilled in pinpointing, analyzing, and addressing core issues within operational processes, evaluating risk factors, and making critical business decisions. Apart from my dedication to building partnerships and strategic alliances, I enjoy establishing, maintaining, and utilizing a broad network of contacts.
• Garnered and leveraged a vast network of influencers, policymakers, CEOs, and community and business leaders.
• Served as a guest speaker and special vocalist for community-related organizations, business functions, and private events, volunteering with nonprofit and human relations organizations, building relationships, and solving problems.
• Partnered with community-based nonprofit initiatives as an Emerging Philanthropist, Visionary, and Ambassador for housing, food insecurity, women, economic/community development, entrepreneurship, education, and public policy.
• Worked as a gifted songwriter and trained vocalist with Grammy Award-winning and recording musicians.
• Graced the stage with performers like Patti LaBelle, Johnny Oneal, Norman Connors, Jerry Peters, and Sonny Emory.
• Recorded and released an inaugural CD in NYC/Manhattan Center, produced by a legendary producer, musician, and songwriter - Norman Connors, along with Grammy Award-Winning writer, composer, and musician - Jerry Peters.
Leadership Highlights:
I have served as a Special Asst. to the Chairman, Executive Asst. to the Commissioner, Dpty. Chief of Staff and PR/Comms Specialist at the Dep. of Econ. Dev. Apart from being an Advisory Board Member at HouseATL, I hold the positions of Communications, Outreach, and Engagement Chair and VP at Collier Heights National Historic District, appointed to HouseAtl and the Renaming Concourse D at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to the Michael R. Hollis Concourse Steering Commottee as well as the Past Vice Chair of the RISE Schools and Past President of the Atlanta Planning Advisory Board.
