Why I joined 100 Women Who Care - Hampton Roads
We live in Virginia Beach and I’ve been connected to many local charities in different capacities for the last 19 nears here in this area. We have 4 children one who is on the spectrum. So alot of my charity work has been focused on supporting mentally and physically challenged people. My husband was in the Navy for almost 30 years so we support several local military related charities. We both sit/have sat on charity Boards. Our family is big on supporting the community so I’d love to know more about what other charities are here in the area so I can spread awareness about them as well.
