Why I joined New York Women in Business for Good
I'd like to meet and connect with empowered women to support causes that make an overall positive impact on the world. In my line of work (supply chain / strategy consulting for automotive manufacturers), I often feel that I am dedicating my time and energy to helping businesses optimize their workflows, identify efficiencies, grow, etc., but I don't feel that I am actually making a net positive impact on the world. I am hoping to re-focus some of that energy into something that truly matters, and I am hopeful that joining this group will help open up the opportunities to do such that.
