Thanks so much to all who have contributed and re-contributed! We raised $41, 255 for our 18 PA House Candidates and $1275 for Missy Cerrato and Mark Moffa's razor thin margin recount!
We did it We flipping FLIPPED the PA House!
In Q1 2023 we are actively raising emergency funds to hold the PA Dem House majority, and then we will work on laying the groundwork and deep canvassing in advance of the super important 2024 election. Stay tuned and please reach out if you would like to join the strategy team!

MEET OUR AMAZING 2022 CANDIDATES
We are a group of old and new friends who have come together after watching Republican-controlled State Legislatures across the country advance right-wing agendas, deny essential rights like reproductive healthcare and voting access, AND attempt to thwart our democracy. Guess what? These vital issues and more are determined in STATE CAPITALS NOT WASHINGTON DC!
WITH SO MUCH AT STAKE...
We started a States Project Giving Circle and have thrown our support behind one crucial state, Pennsylvania, as a key to stopping this march towards autocracy. Recent--and more fair--redistricting has created potential to flip one or both PA houses from RED to BLUE, putting a major roadblock in the Republican plan.
WHY ARE WE SUPPORTING LOCAL CANDIDATES?
Not only can they flip state power, but they can also bring voters out for senate, congressional and gubernatorial candidates at the top of the ticket-- CRITICAL wins this year.
100% of your donation to our giving circle, ImPAct the States, will go directly to supporting candidates in PA strategically chosen by The States Project, a research driven org that is laser focused on changing the balance of power at the state level.
DID YOU KNOW:
States Houses control much of the legislation that affects our daily lives like abortion access, healthcare for ALL, voting access, gun legislation, criminal justice, environmental regulation, education policy, GERRYMANDERING, and so much more!
Whether our democracy fails or succeeds is going to be determined in the states in 2022. State governments control election administration AND certification! The 2022 state elections are vitally important to the 2024 presidential election! Republican controlled state governments across the country are already tweaking legal structures to allow state legislators to OVERRIDE THE CHOICE OF THE VOTERS in anticipation of sending fraudulent electors for President in 2024!!! With 20 electors Pennsylvania is a must win state!
It is often cheaper to change the balance of power in a state chamber than it is to win a single competitive congressional seat. So your money is POWERFUL in state elections compared to a national election. $100 spent for a state senate seat is way more impactful than $100 spent in a high profile national race. Donations to state level candidates support mailers, radio ads, and basic campaign infrastructure; spending that can make the difference for a successful campaign.
***And as a bonus, state level candidates bring out voters for the top of the ticket. If someone is disaffected about Biden or Fetterman, they may be fired up about a local issue important to their community and will show up to vote for that issue... and also for vote for the top of the ticket. This is especially impactful in large electoral states like PA as we look to 2024.
