About our group
Mission Murals VT is a new initiative, led by a group of Core Curators, to bring murals to nonprofits across the state. The goal is to communicate the non-profits mission and values via public art that builds community + supports working artists. Your donation will go directly to Feeding Chittenden and is 100% tax deductible.
Our first project is for Feeding Chittenden! Our goal is to raise $21,300 ($11,131 for the mural, paint and signage and $10,000 for Feeding Chittenden’s Operations). Each donation will support both the mural and direct relief for patrons. All donations are greatly appreciated and you can donate, in any amount.

The Need: Feeding Chittenden works to alleviate hunger by feeding people - our most basic human need.As the largest direct service emergency food provider in Vermont, Feeding Chittenden serves over 12,000 people each year. Due to the current pandemic, the number of people relying on Feeding Chittenden is soaring. In this time that we call the “new-normal” patrons must wait in the socially-distant line outside to receive their boxes.
Their distribution facility in the heart of the Old North End serves as a backdrop for the community. The building itself is in need of a visual transformation and has the opportunity to celebrate and elevate the community.
