Greenway International Foundation's mission is to provide affordable mental health care facilities and raise awareness of environmental sustainability by empowering advocates, volunteers, and ambassadors to provide nature-based interventions. This vision is to support communities afflicted or prone to climate emergencies like flooding, wildfires, hurricanes, displacement, air quality crises, and trauma caused by climate change.
Main Objective:
1. Providing affordable and accessible mental health services, including therapy, counseling, and medication management. This could involve offering services on a sliding scale, expanding Telehealth options, and ensuring insurance coverage for mental health care.
2. Building life skills by equipping individuals with life skills such as stress management, coping mechanisms, and problem-solving strategies can help our community members navigate challenges and maintain mental well-being.
3. Promote environmental sustainability by creating accessible green spaces for physical activity. This could involve promoting community fitness programs, healthy food initiatives, mindfulness, and self-care.
