About our group
Musizi University is an upcoming university in Uganda, East Africa.
Uganda is the second youngest population in the world and projected to be one of the top 10 most populous countries in the world by 2100. We urgently need to provide quality higher education that will raise leaders, who will build the services and systems required to support this growth.
Musizi is the name of an indigenous tree in Uganda. Birds perch on this tall tree and drop seeds, which then sprout as various life forms around the tree. Musizi directly translates to “the sower” because wherever it is planted, other life thrives around it. We hope that like the Musizi, our students will enable life around them to flourish.
