About our group
Soup Ottawa is a recurring, cash-only, zero-overhead, micro-grant participatory dinner event. A $10 entrance fee gets you soup and a vote. Presenters showcase their projects that benefit the community, and we all vote to grant the proceeds to the most inspiring project.
Network Affiliation
SOUP, founded in Detroit, is a microgranting dinner celebrating and supporting creative projects. For a donation attendees receive soup, salad, bread and a vote and hear presentations from the community. Ballots at the end of dinner determines who takes home the funding.
