About our group
We are a Colombian non-profit organization based in the City of Cartagena, Colombia, acting as a bridge between qualified individuals and diverse Afrocolombian and Indigenous communities to overcome the inequality gap and thereby accelerate inclusive development, foster sustainability, and generate empowerment through the strengthening of leadership, especially among women.
We accompany self-government processes, highlight the identity of the territory and generate capacities by prioritizing intercultural dialogue and differential and multicultural approaches to mobilize opportunities in Afro and Indigenous communities
The Amigos de FEM support FEM's projects, such as ancestral land rights and cultural heritage saving projects. We welcome support from people at all levels of giving who are dedicated to promoting social justice and willing to help reduce inequalities faced by Afro-Colombian and Indigenous communities.
