The Lowcountry Action Committee (LAC) is a Black-led, grassroots organization focused on advancing liberation and social justice through political education, community support, and direct action.
LAC 's primary focus is supporting local victims of police brutality and their families, as well as working with local marginalized youth in downtown Charleston. They provide guidance, resources and various types of critical support to families in crisis, and recently launched an after-school reading program for local Black youth. 💜
