About our group
The Good Farm Fund is fundraising for the 2026 Market Match and Farm Grant Programs in Mendocino & Lake Counties.
The Farm Grant Program provides capacity-building grants to food producers, helping support local food security and our local economy. We have awarded over $600,000 in grants since our inception, helping build walk-in coolers and efficient water systems, plant trees, spread compost, and generally help give farmers a leg up in a challenging economy for a small food producer.
The Good Farm Fund's fundraising for Market Match helps keep this state-wide program available for as many low-income residents as possible, as consistently as possible.
Market Match is California’s healthy food incentive program, which matches customers’ federal nutrition assistance benefits, like CalFresh (formerly known as food stamps), at farmers’ markets. When customers use their benefits at farmers’ markets, Market Match provides matching funds so that they can buy even more fruits and vegetables.
