About our group

Maine Change for 100, an alliance of like-minded individuals, raises donation-based funds to support organizations that interrupt institutionalized racism in Maine.

Maine change for 100 creates an inclusive, accessible and organized process in which at least 100 community members, each donating $100, learn from multiple local, well-vetted, action-based organizations, about the work each does to identify, understand, and eliminate the ingrained, inherited discrimination in our society, and that support and promote social justice.

The current climate of social, economic and racial injustice makes it clear that community members must stand together to create a better future for ourselves and future generations. Maine Change for 100 is an accessible and enjoyable option for people to come together and make a difference.

Maine Change for 100 is a learning party with music, dance opportunities and presentations from community-based, non-profit organizations that take action to eliminate racism and support social, economic, environmental and racial justice.
