Bluegrass Blue Wave is a grassroots group in Kentucky that harnesses the power of average citizens who believe in justice and equality and seek to improve the welfare and safety of Americans by raising money to change the power in state legislatures. Many of our donors give through Pies for Progress -- receiving an edible reward for their donation.
WHY DO STATE ELECTIONS MATTER? Because state legislatures have a huge impact on everyday citizens -- much more than Washington does. State governments pass laws regarding:
Healthcare access
Voting rights and redistricting
Gun safety
Education funding
Climate policy
Infrastructure
LGBTQ+ rights
Abortion rights
AND MORE!
