Requesting Nonprofit Nominations

Each participant may nominate one nonprofit per event. A donation for the current cycle is required to submit a nomination.

Before submitting a nomination, please take a moment to read our Nomination Guidelines. By submitting a nomination, you’re agreeing to follow these guidelines.

If you nominated a nonprofit in the previous cycle, it will remain active for the current event as long as you’ve made your donation for this cycle. If you choose to nominate a different organization, your new nomination will replace your previous one.                                                                                              

Before each event, three nonprofits are randomly selected from all active nominations to be presented to the group.

Multiple people are welcome to nominate the same nonprofit. This increases their chances of being chosen.

If your nomination is selected, you will have the opportunity to introduce your NPO representative during the meeting. You will be given 2 minutes to briefly summarize the NPO's mission along with your personal inspiration or connection to their mission.

If your nonprofit doesn't come up when you try to add it in Grapevine, you can easily submit it for addition within the platform - or email [email protected] and we’ll take care of it for you. We love adding new nonprofits to our growing list of eligible organizations that you can view in our Cultivate Nonprofit List.

Each cycle, we review nonprofit status, so you may occasionally see a designation like "pending approval." You're still welcome to nominate these organizations. In the unlikely event that a nonprofit's status has changed, we'll reach out so you can select an alternative.

Nominations will close August 9.

LifeWise Update: Following discussion by the planning team, LifeWise districts (other than Pickerington) will observe a one-event waiting period before becoming eligible for nomination again. While LifeWise districts operate under the same 501(c)(3), they have separate local leadership, fundraising, volunteers, and community impact. We felt that the potential of immediately following one LifeWise district with another could place the next district at a disadvantage. This one-event pause helps create some separation between presentations, keeps the focus on introducing members to a variety of nonprofits, and ultimately gives future LifeWise districts a stronger opportunity to be considered. *

As a result, any nominations for LifeWise districts from last cycle will not carry over to this cycle. Members who currently have a LifeWise nomination are encouraged to nominate a different nonprofit for this cycle and are welcome to submit a LifeWise district nomination again for our November event.

🍂 Fall Gather to Give 🍂

Join us for an evening of connection, inspiration, and collective generosity.

Cultivate is a giving circle where women come together to learn about local nonprofits, hear their stories firsthand, and make a meaningful impact in our community.

During the event, three local organizations will share their mission, the work they are doing, and the needs they are seeing in our community. Following the presentations, participants will vote to help determine how our collective gift is distributed.

Whether you're attending for the first time or returning for another gathering, we invite you to come with an open heart, learn about important work happening right here in our own backyard, and experience the joy of generosity together.
