This is a local group dedicated to supporting free latin dance events, including lessons, socials and performances in the greater Seattle area, preferably in public parks (weather permitting).
Funds will be used to cover event costs (park reservations, portable dance floors, dance instructors, DJs, etc) in order to make them more accessible and enjoyable to everyone who want to practice respectfully, regardless of their financial means.
Which dance styles? We're going to focus initially on Salsa and Bachata which are more popular in Seattle, but members are welcome to organize events for any latin dance styles, e.g., Mambo, Reggaeton.
