We are fundraising to help advance Tech Education Fund NGO's mission of supporting girls’ and women’s education in tech sector. We are passionate about the organization because having more women in the technology sector has significant positive impacts on gender equality and inclusion.
Today, in the US, about 57% of college degrees are awarded to women. But only 2% of the degrees are in computer science and tech disciplines. Women’s representation in technology is crucial for reducing gender-based bias in technology products and services and for supporting women’s economic empowerment.
Financial barrier is one of the biggest obstacles for women and girls to start tech education. The purpose of the group is to support tech and STEM education among economically disadvantaged youth.
During every quarter, we will support different projects focused on this topic. This quarter, we are supporting Mongolian girls to study STEM in the US. As international students, they cannot get loans from the US banks. Your donations will support their education and dream of being able to enter technology sector.
Thank you so much for your support!
