In VA, Dems control the Senate by just 2 seats. Repubs control the House. There is an R Governor. We CAN'T let Republicans gain a trifecta in VA, which has been trending blue and where a Dem just won a special election in the 7th district.

Once again, time for Democrats to show up and fight for state power like they mean it: hair on fire, ballots blazing.
We are the ReSisters, a politically engaged group that was born in New York City but welcomes concerned Americans everywhere who want to HELP WIN BACK DEMOCRATIC POWER IN THE STATES.
In 2022, The ReSisters States Project Giving Circle directed funds to Arizona and Michigan. Our small GC increased its fundraising goal three times and exceeded the last one by nearly 150%. We and all our donors were incredibly proud to have helped Dems hold their own in AZ and win a Democratic trifecta in MI!
Overall, The States Project was wildly successful, flipping legislative chambers to Dem control, expanding infrastructure and partnerships that will be invaluable in 2024, and improving the lives of millions of people who will benefit from critical Democratic policies.
As you know, states are also laboratories for national policy on all the important issues: voting rights, abortion, gerrymandering, climate action, education, health care, LGBT rights, and many others.
And State legislatures are key defenses against broad far right proposals like a national constitutional convention and new constitutional amendments to enshrine reactionary policies.
Each state legislative seat costs a fraction of a US Congressional or Senate race. State races are often decided by a few thousand votes or less.
