About our group
In the second quarter of 2020, our founding members set out to bring together 100+ contributors to make impactful gifts, with an emphasis on Jewish nonprofits, in the Denver/Boulder metro area.
• We are constantly growing our membership (now over 225 donors) and count on our current participants to help spread the word about this giving circle.
• Each member commits to donate $100 or more quarterly.
• All members have the opportunity to nominate a registered 501c3 charity (or a specific program of a larger nonprofit organization) to be a recipient of one of our quarterly collective donations.
• Each quarter, five finalists are randomly selected from the nominations. Each member has the responsibility to vote for one of the finalists at or before the quarterly meeting.
• The three nonprofit agencies receiving the most votes each receive grants from the group’s quarterly collective donation.
The heartfelt gratitude we receive from the organizations receiving our donations confirms that we are truly performing a mitzvah in our community!
