About our group

Leadership
The 7 Fund Giving Club launched in November 2019 to harness the collective power of a group of extraordinary individuals uniting to help UNICEF unlock the freedom to dream in every child – especially girls, break down barriers that too often steal dreams away: violence, bullying, child marriage and missed education. We are directly working to improve the lives of over 200,000 children and their families across four countries.

The 7 Fund Giving Club is directly working to improve the lives of over 200,000 children and their families across four countries – Nepal, Indonesia, Uganda, and El Salvador.

In Nepal, the Giving Club is working to address child marriage and school dropout. We are focusing on reaching over 34,900 vulnerable adolescents, as well as 83,600 parents, caretakers, and community members.

In Indonesia, the goals of the club are to decrease school dropout rates, improve health and learning outcomes, and prevent violence in schools. To date, we have reached nearly 40,000 adolescents through the programme.

In Uganda, the 7 Fund programme works with 36 schools in the Adjumani district to enable children to go back or stay in school. Our goal is to provide quality learning and build an engaged community to prevent and respond to violence against children.

Lastly, in El Salvador, through the support of the Giving Club, UNICEF is working to prevent and respond to cases of violence against children by helping children stay in school and combating gender stereotypes. By 2023, the 7 Fund programme will support 6,000 children and 720 parents, teachers, local officials, and social workers from across the six most violent municipalities in El Salvador.

To join the 7 fund Giving Club, members pledge a minimum of £100,000 payable in instalments. Our Goal is to raise £5 million by bringing together up to 50 supporters over three years.
