About our group

Small business' contribute a lot to a community. One more small business is about to go under instead of having a success story.

Tweeks Garage was Incorporated as Tweeks Garage Incorporated in January 2019. The goal was to operate a low overhead general custom paint and fab shop to service those that work hard and can't afford the big shop prices.

The beginning stages had shown amazing promise and result.

Due to life taking a course change. Moving to a better suited facility and the unbelievable difficult situation the Covid pandemic had created for many. The bills stacked up.

With non essential services type business' having to close theirs doors, the income was not coming in and the bills still were.

In 2019 the Government experienced what was called an auto-reset. Due to this auto-reset, 10,000 plus newly incorporated business' had not received nor had been registered for a Business Number.

Eventually these business' would receive their number. However, in many cases they were received, in our case, 1 week after any relief programs deadline. Leaving these business unable to qualify for anything.

Tweeks Garage Incorporated has worked very diligently to not raise costs during this pandemic. The only costs that were raised was the material purchases to meet the new hiked cost.

We are in a small community and we keep our money in this community. We strive to work for the young person starting a family pumping gas, serving burgers or coffee.

They have dreams and strive to work towards them, the cost of those dreams unfortunately are far beyond reach.

I myself found this as a young man growing up. I was in want but would never be able to afford it without a very respectable job.

I had a talent for making things from whatever I could get my hands on. That led me into where I am today.

Some examples of work.

A customer had brought a 1966 M/F 11hp garden tractor with boxes of pieces for various attachments.
There are no manuals available for us.
Piece by piece it was examined and matched with worn areas and bolts and by studying the overall attachment and how it works. It was fairly challenging and easy at the same time to reassemble.

A family wanted a special bed for their daughter and finding one that was affordable for what they desired, I was able to take a bed they found and paint it and make look like what they were after and suit their budget.

Another customer specializes in specialty automotive furniture that we do the metal work and sometimes paint on.

Several shops around here will send fibreglass work to me. Not many people like or want to do fibreglass work. We do!

We service another semi local family business custom painting golf carts.

We do not limit ourselves.

We service the automotive racing community as well.

Part of our shop is our race team which works on volunteers. We ourselves volunteer at the track to pay the racing fees. But we also use the car to teach youngsters. This program is headed up by our crew cheif and begun late (covid restrictions of course) season of 2021. This program will likely to continue regardless of the shop remaining open.

We have a little music jam room set up and look forward setting up a small time recording studio as it is equipment we already have. Just something else for fun and help some local no budget band or music groups.

I guess can say we are an a imagination based shop. The world was built on imagination and it will grow on imagination.

Custom vehicles has always been my passion. I spent 30 years learning and will spend 30 more learning. I have almost always been able to do what I need to, to do the job I am doing.

Because of that, I keep costs low.

Everything that I do does not only relate to automotive. I can use my skills almost anywhere as I have learned how to evaluated what I am doing and how it all comes together.

Unfortunately this world has become dependent on google or youtube. When the day comes and there is no access to those privileges, many many are going to be lost and not know what to do.

I and my future employees will be the ones that can help as we all learn how to figure things out using our minds. An exercise what I call primitive thought.

At any given point, some body had a thought that created pretty well anything in life. Thus we can study and trace back and find our way. Todays schooling teaches us how to do things today.

Here at Tweeks Garage Incorporated we teach how to apply ideas to what is available and how we can do it with what we have. Sure at times equipment may need to be purchased. Those purchases are done only on necessity and not want.

Many shops will spend 10's of thousands on tools that do the same job that a few basic hand tools can also do. However, that is not taught anymore.

Our long term goal is to provide 2-3 long term employment opportunities that leads into a family legacy. My family as well. I have a nephew that has a few years left before he joins the grown up world and wants to be apart of our shop, as well as my daughter although very young, but shows much interest.

This little shop that can will provide this for the other employees that want to continue a legacy with their families for generations to come.

We have been lucky to have the opportunity to work with other local shops and business instead of competing against them.

Tweeks Garage Incorporated is set out to only raise what is necessary to continue into this new year of business and nothing more.

Because we refuse to increase our rates to pay the outstanding bills, we are finding ourselves facing shutting down.

So why not increase the costs?
If we have to increase cost, we then have taken a different path that could end up side tracking our vision and thus ending our goal.

The more we can help, the happy the world can be. One job at a time.
