Power of 100 Lake Minnetonka is a women's giving circle that meets quarterly. Each meeting has the potential to generate more that $10,000 for a local charity. In addition, we have partners who provide a quarterly match of our member donations.
HOW IT WORKS
- Meetings are one hour and will be held four times per year.
- Each member or member team commits to donating $100 per meeting ($400 annually).
- Members nominate their favorite local charities- and at each meeting, three charities are randomly selected and the member who nominated the charity has 5 minutes to tell the group about the charity.
- Members vote to select one charity each quarter-and then each member donates $100 directly to the selected charity.
