Leadership
Bath Women’s Fund's vision is to build giving in our local community, celebrate women’s philanthropy and the inspiring local people and organisations that empower and support women, girls and families.
Bath Women’s Fund brings together women as philanthropists to learn about and support organisations working with women, girls and families across our local area. As an all-volunteer giving circle, our collective response to local needs has a greater impact in supporting local communities - because together our giving makes a bigger difference.
All members participate in deciding how the funds are allocated to achieve the greatest impact, part of a collective giving community and involved in local events and project visits to learn about philanthropy, local needs and evidence on the most impactful approaches to address them.
We will have a focus on issues affecting women, girls and families in local communities and involve women with lived experience in sharing their stories and expertise, helping to identify projects/organisations to support and the grant making decision process.
Bath Women's Fund aims to engage local women of any age, interest or background in the power of collective giving to support needs in their communities, with a focus on supporting women, girls and families.
Each member donates at least £25 each month (more if they wish).
We work with local partners to promote and build local philanthropy through opportunities to support communities through volunteering, resources and networks, and regular updates on local needs and research.
