About our group

Welcome to 100 Women Who Care East TN Foothills! We are a giving circle of like-minded women serving Loudon and Monroe counties that donates $10,000+ to a local nonprofit each quarter. How does it work?

  • Each member commits to donating $100 each quarter
  • Our chapter meets for an hour each quarter to listen to 3 presentations from member-nominated nonprofits
  • Members vote on the nonprofits
  • The winning nonprofit is awarded $10,000+

Pooling donations makes a significant impact for these local organizations and the work they do.

Quarterly Meetings

All meetings take place at the Tellico Village Yacht Club located at 100 Sequoyah Road, Loudon from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. We gather to socialize at 4:00 pm, so plan to come early and perhaps stay for dinner at the Blue Heron following the meeting! Guests are welcome at all meetings. Upcoming meeting dates are:

  • Thursday - February 19, 2026
  • Thursday - May 21, 2026
  • Thursday - August 20, 2026
  • Thursday - November 19, 2026
  • Wednesday - February 17, 2027
  • Thursday - May 20, 2027
  • Thursday - August 19, 2027

Become a Member

You can join our chapter in the following ways:

  2. Go to Grapevine.org, search for Foothills to select our chapter then click the Join button.
  3. Come to a meeting, see what it’s all about, and join there.

Nonprofits

Any member in good standing (defined as a member who actively participates by donating) may nominate a nonprofit. Each nonprofit submitted is vetted to ensure it meets the chapter’s criteria before being added to the pool. Before each meeting 3 nonprofits are randomly selected from the pool and invited to present at our quarterly meeting. At each quarterly meeting, the 3 randomly selected nonprofits make presentations, and the members then vote to select the winning nonprofit.

Special thanks to the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation

Because our chapter qualifies to participate in their matching grant program, the foundation has generously awarded up to $5,000 each quarter to a Nonprofit we selected! Their grant amount is included in the totals raised for each Nonprofit.
