Make sure your voice is heard - please cast your vote for the non-profit that will receive our next donation from Alexandria Women for Good. Voting is now open and you will have until 6 PM on Friday, March 13 to vote. Please remember that you have to have donated in order to have voting rights.

Good morning! We need 3 or more volunteers to create a "basket of care" for Friends of Guest House women moving into their aftercare program. A typical basket includes:

Laundry basket/hamper

Towel and wash set

Twin bed sheet set

Key chain

Coffee cup

Laundry detergent

Toilet paper

Paper towels

Trash bags

Picture frames

Command strips for picture hanging

Hangars

Dish detergent

Laundry hamper

Each of us who participates must purchase these items (think Walmart, Dollar Store, etc.) and we will all meet at Friends of Guest House on March 26 to present them. And...then meet our other AWFG friends for the 5 p.m. happy hour at Hotel AKA!
