This Giving Circle aims to foster a greater understanding of how women and girls are the drivers of change in communities world wide. Together we will unpack the many ways in which women hold the keys to the adoption of climate solutions globally. This circle is co-chaired by Kady Sylla and Monica Carrillo Zegarra. The Giving Circle is sponsored by King Baudouin Foundation United States.
NEID’s Women and Climate Giving Circle will meet once a month from December to June to learn about the intersection of women's empowerment and climate change, the new opportunities that have arisen as a result and how to fund effectively in this space. NEID membership is required to participate in a Giving Circle and each participant will ultimately be expected to contribute funds. NEID members will be asked to contribute a minimum of $1,200, while new-members are asked to first become NEID members and then contribute $1,000 to the Circle.
