About our group
The Project to Save Democracy (PTSD) has raised over $300,000 to win strategic state-level races. In 2023-2024 we worked to flip the Arizona House and Senate, end the rightwing’s supermajority in the Kansas House, protect the majority in the PA House and build a majority in the PA Senate. We didn't win them all, but fighting back made a difference. In 2025, we fueled wins in critical special elections and delivered a shellacking to Republicans in the Virginia state house.
Join us in 2026 as we raise early money for state races promoting fair elections, affordability, and government-wide respect for every American. Because the defending democracy starts at the state level.
