Giving Circle Year In Reviews

All of our Grapevine Giving Circles have made an impact in their communities and around the world this year. We wanted to highlight the impact that some of our amazing groups have made in 2022!

Madison Professional Women for Good

The Madison Professional Women for Good Giving Circle was founded in September 2022 as a way for women in Madison, Wisconsin to build connections while doing good for the greater community. They focus on helping each other to build their careers and enrich their personal lives while making an impact in Madison.

So far, this Giving Circle has raised $16,600. During their first donation cycle, they raised $7,700 for their grant recipient, the Friends of the Madison Arts Commission.

The Friends of the Madison Arts Commission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2020 to support the Madison Arts Commission's efforts to encourage artistic activities and initiate cultural programs that integrate, support and advance arts and culture as an essential part of life in Madison.

Birmingham Women for Good

The Birmingham Women for Good Giving Circle was founded to enable women in Birmingham with a passion for their community to come together and give back. They hope to make positive changes with a group of empowered women through their commitment to feminine empowerment and ongoing growth and transformation.

They’ve raised $8,910 in total, sending $2,825 to the House of Wealth Inc. for their first quarterly grant and $3,160 to the Prescott House for their second quarterly grant.

The House of Wealth Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in central Alabama to service local communities, innovation-conscious states, and countries abroad. They are dedicated to rebuilding fractured communities and the economic empowerment of minorities. They offer growth-centered programs to maximize opportunities for individuals to start and grow businesses of their own. They also provide access to a myriad of life development resources through education and connection.

Prescott House is a nonprofit that was created to provide services to victims of child abuse.

Denver Women in Business for Good

The Denver Women in Business for Good Giving Circle was founded in May 2022 to give Denver business women with hearts for giving back a way to make a bigger difference together. They aim to grow their local networks of women paving the way for younger generations while making a difference in their local community.

So far, this Giving Circle has raised $16,617. During their first donation cycle, they raised $7,011 for their grant recipient, The Gathering Place.

The Gathering Place offers services to combat poverty and address the impacts of marginalization and oppression that are often contributing factors to poverty or homelessness. By offering low-barrier access to a broad range of basic necessities and wrap-around care options, they guide women, transgender folx and children living in poverty from a place of crisis and instability to one of stability and security.
