The Center for Honeybee Research is a grassroots, educational, research organization founded to collect objective data in an open-sourced, non-proprietary platform for the benefit of researchers, beekeepers, and policy makers — to ensure the survival of the honeybee.
Arms Around ASD
The mission of Arms Around ASD is to support the autism community through self-care and development of executive functioning skills promoting the growth of the community as a whole. Arms is unique in that we provide services for people on the autism spectrum regardless of age, ability or income AND their families, care providers, support staff and other professionals (teachers, doctors, nurses, therapists, etc) who work with them. Everyone who works with AAASD is a volunteer. From our acupuncturist to our Zumba instructor, front desk person to executive director, we all have our arms around autism spectrum disorder. Arms is one giant hug to families who seek our services.

Mountain Child Advocacy Center
Mountain Child Advocacy Center is setting the standard for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. Each year we teach over 9,000 children in Buncombe County how to protect themselves with highly interactive, research based classes that educate and empower kids. When abuse does occur, we provide immediate access to free, evidenced based therapies that help children heal.
