Jesse Murray

Why I joined... “Hello! I'm Jesse and I live just outside of NYC in NJ. I first entered the tech world in 2015 building electronic discovery systems for the legal team at Uber. In 2018 I moved to Lime, the micromobility company. I transitioned into the Trust and Safety world while there until I joined Tools for Humanity. Now, I head the Trust and Safety team for an incredibly ambitious project. Providing proof of humanness in the age of AI. Of all my experiences, Peace Corps was the most impactful. This is why I'd like to pursue opportunities to be of service. I am looking forward to contributing!”

Joliz Cedeño

Why I joined... “As a nonprofit leader and a Latina from the South Bronx, I have a laser focus to provide equitable opportunity and resources for people from historically underrepresented groups. Community is what built me. Having been raised in section 8 housing in the South Bronx, my mom instilled that no matter what your station in life you always have the opportunity to be of service to support and provide access to others. On our block we were each other's fundraisers, translators, advocates, and most important of all, the most hype group of people to celebrate wins as they came. When I think of my career...”

Joliz Cedeño - Executive Director at Techqueria

Fred Barrionuevo
