To eliminate barriers to tech careers by providing underrepresented youth with the skills, mentorship, and industry access needed to thrive in today’s digital economy. We’re here to make sure every student—regardless of background—has the opportunity to succeed in tech and transform their future.

To advance the art and science of medicine and to enhance the lives of all graduates by: fostering a collegial atmosphere among students, alumni, and faculty through publications and forums that present new medical knowledge, elicit discussion among physicians and medical students, and keep members informed of one another's professional activities; cooperating with the university of alabama school of medicine to achieve its highest goals as an institution of learning and as part of a teaching hospital; encouraging medical students to aspire to the highest ethical, professional, educational, and clincial standards, as well as to maintain the integrity of the physician/patient relationship; striving always for excellence in patient care and medical training; ensuring that funding be sustained, indeed increased, for medical training and research vital to the future of the medical profession.
