About Sarah Needham
Sarah Needham is the Executive Director of the Hill Art Foundation an exhibition space in Chelsea, NYC. From 2014-2018, Sarah was a Program Officer at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation focusing on arts and education grantmaking. Prior to joining SNF, she worked in a series of roles at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. While there, she spearheaded the first ever, campus-wide public art initiative; helped organize a yearlong celebration of the institution’s 50th anniversary; managed the young patrons program; and worked in the press office, where she publicized the historic redevelopment of the Lincoln Center campus. Sarah graduated from Williams College with a degree in Art History and received an M.B.A. from NYU’s Stern School of Business. She serves on the Board of Overseers of the California Institute of the Arts and the Board of Trustees at Danspace Project.
