About our group

The COVID-19 crisis is wreaking havoc on small businesses globally, including enterprises serving refugees and their host communities. Government relief efforts often fail to reach businesses owned and operated by refugees, despite the fact that refugee entrepreneurs contribute significantly to local and national economies.

The Refugee Entrepreneurs COVID-19 Resilience Fund (RECOVR Fund) will deploy emergency cash grants to hundreds of refugee-led enterprises that are most acutely affected by the pandemic and the related economic downturn.

Our initial goal for the Fund is a $1M raise that will directly support hundreds of refugee-led ventures through four globally dispersed accelerators, and the Refugee Investment Network’s (RIN) ongoing systems-change work building the field of refugee-led and refugee-supporting ventures.

Donations made through Grapevine are tax-deductible through the Social Good Fund, which is a Donor Advised Fund (DAF).
