TILIFI / House of GG

TILIFI / House of GG
Little Rock, AR

At the core of TILIFI / House of GG's work and mission is a framework and politic grounded in gender and racial justice, supporting Black trans women and folks in the South to access respite, wellness and healing justice. TILIFI's mission is to offer physical spaces and resources that positively impact the lives, history, and visibility of transgender, gender-questioning, and gender-nonconforming people of color-with a primary focus on Black trans women and girls. This service is provided to our community through welcoming them to our retreat center in Little Rock, Arkansas and providing them a space to truly retreat and have respite while also accessing support that promotes healing justice, resilience, and movement building and sustainability among our communities. TILIFI / House of GG is the brain-child of world-renowned trans rights revolutionary, Miss Major Griffin-Gracy. As a survivor of the historic Stonewall Riots in New York City in 1969, Miss Major helped to pioneer the TLGBQ liberation movement. She continues this liberation work five decades later, now focusing her efforts on TILIFI / House of GG.
