Why I joined Women Fighting for Women's Rights
I am interested in devoting more time to women's rights because I care a lot about this issue and there is so much work to be done! Also, as a community builder and fundraiser who has never participated in a giving circle, I am interested in seeing how it works; especially as a participant vs. staff member facilitating it. I am excited about the opportunity to have a higher impact by pooling our funds. I am also looking to make a career change now and women's rights is an area that I haven't explicitly worked in but am really interested in potentially transitioning to so I am interested in networking, and gaining knowledge of the field with that goal in mind as well.
