About
I'm a child and adult psychiatrist, and Co-Founder and Executive Medical Director of Center for Wise Mind Living. I and our whole team are interested in social justice, social equity, anti-racism, humanism, mental health parity, access to mental health care, reducing mental health stigma and mental health advocacy in general.

Joined March 2022 • 330 West 58th Street, Suite 313, New York, NY 10019

Why I joined Black History Month, Every Month
I wanted to be more pro-active in facilitating change, especially as a white, cis/het, abled man. I also wanted to join a group of like minded folks, and this group is filled with amazing, accomplished, humanistic peers. I'm so happy to be amongst such wisdom and humanism.

Why I joined Black History Month, Every Month
I just want to say I'm so impressed by the members of this group. In these dark times, it's an honor to be surrounded by such talented and invested defenders of social justice/equity, human and civil rights, and humanism .

Why I joined Black History Month, Every Month
I'm so privileged to meet so many caring, humanistic, social justice warriors (in the REAL/BEST/non-pejorative sense of the phrase)

Why I joined Mental Health Professionals for Good
I just reached out to my Columbia community of psychiatrists and non-MD mental health clinicians, a NYC listserv of NYC CBT/DBT therapists, my LinkedIn community of mental health clinicians, my Twitter family, my Facebook community, including 6 Facebook groups of psychiatrists and clinicians all around the country.

Why I joined Mental Health Professionals for Good
I'm rushing so instead of officially nominating it, I thought I'd throw one option out: https://aakomaproject.org/

Why I joined Mental Health Professionals for Good
I'm really hoping this group takes off--it would be nice for everyone to make the minimal donation. I assume the next steps are for folks to start talking about non-profit options?

Why I joined Mental Health Professionals for Good
Hey, all, I'm happy to be here and help as best I can. I'm a child and adult psychiatrist/psychopharmacologist, and I'm the Co-Founder and Executive Medical Director of Center for Wise Mind Living. I'm interested in social justice, social equity, anti-racism, humanism, mental health parity, access to mental health care, and mental health advocacy.
