Why I joined Ann Arbor Women for Good
Hi everyone! I'm Madison and I work as a Software Engineer at a Climate Tech startup working to help beauty brands make more environmentally friendly decisions about their supply chains. I grew up in Toledo, OH, went to school in Pittsburgh, PA (graduated 2017), then lived in NYC for four years before my partner, dog, and I moved back to the Midwest to stay in 2021. I love living in Ann Arbor, but regret that I haven't explored it as much as I should have! As a member, I'm hoping to meet and network with other women in the area who care for their community and would also love to do some group volunteering if the opportunity arises! Though I already donate to a handful of organizations, I would love to focus more of my giving on our local community, but am not sure where to start, so am looking forward to doing research and making contributions as a group!
