Why I joined WOC Nonprofit Leaders for Change
It gives me an opportunity to connect with other BIPOC women and drive collective transformation within our sector.

Why I joined PDX Women for Good
I’m a Portland transplant and someone who has experienced the effects of gentrification. It’s a priority for me to engage with and support local organizations, especially BIPOC-led and BIPOC-serving, that are making positive strides in Portland. With my experience comes a deep understanding of the issues nonprofits face, whether it relates to organizational strategy, talent and resource management or donor retention. If I can join this group to alleviate one area of concern for an organization, that’s a step towards removing equity blockades within philanthropy.
