Benefits of Joining

Pledged members have the opportunity to nominate a 501(C)(3) at each quarterly meeting. Three nominations are drawn at random. The member who nominated the charity will be given ten minutes to talk about their charity and answer questions from the members. After all three presentations are done the members VOTE. The votes are tallied and the charity with the most votes is named as the quarter’s recipient.

Members make their $100 contribution to the selected charity. The contributions and matching grants are collected, and subsequently presented to the charity on behalf of the group. Members are invited to a "check" presentation and tour of the organization and its programs. After learning about the organization, members often become volunteers and support their other fundraising activities.
