I believe it's time to learn from the right-wing playbook and work at a grassroots level for long-term change. The frustration? Those of us who live in blue states/towns/neighborhoods can't move the national needle on things like climate, income inequality, health care, and rights for women, minorities, and LGBTQ people.
So I've started a giving circle with The States Project. It's using smart, data-driven methods to identify and help elect majority-making candidates who can shift the balance of power in Pennsylvania, a key purple state (and Darryl's home state). As PA goes, we all go.
